Personalised Medicine Conference 2016| Brussels | 1-2 June 2016
The European Commission and the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (IC PerMed) will organized on the 1st and 2nd of June the Personalised Medicine Conference 2016 in Brussels.
This conference aims to present the state-of-the-art of personalized medicine – one of the main priorities of the European Union, reflected in the calls of the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge “Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing” – and explore the challenges that it implies for research and innovation. It is open to all interested persons and organizations, including patient and civil society, researchers, pharmaceutical and health industry representatives, financial and legislative institutions, as well as health professionals.
Another purpose of this conference is the presentation of the Consortium IC PerMed, embodying a new collaboration between the agencies that fund health research and legislating institutions.
The conference program will include five thematic sessions:

• Integrating Big Data & ICT Solutions
• Translating Basic to Clinical Research & Beyond
• Bringing Innovation to the Market
• Shaping Sustainable Healthcare
