Pfizer Research Awards 2016 | Applications until 09.09.2016

 

The Sociedade das Ciências Médicas de Lisboa and the Pfizer Labs will give two awards, distinguishing the best basic research in Health Sciences and clinical research, prepared by national and foreign researchers, integral or partly carried out in Portuguese institutions.

The Pfizer Awards celebrate this edition its 60 years, during which annual and continuously contributed to support more than 600 researchers in Portugal, being the oldest distinction in Portuguese biomedical research.

Recalling the previous edition of Pfizer Awards 2015, the winning works were related to the fight against malaria through the own immune system and the innovative technique for diagnosis of patients with diabetic retinopathy.

Each winner of the two research categories will be awarded a cash prize of € 20,000.
