
Renovation of the eHealth Stakeholder Group – Call for expression of interest until 31.01.2016
The European Commission has launched a call for expression of interest in order to renew the eHealth Stakeholder Group, created in 2012 to contribute to the eHealth policy in a multidisciplinary approach, in addition to implement the eHealth Action Plan 2012-2020 and the eHealth Network activities.
The eHealth Stakehloder Group will have a 3-year mandate (2016-2019) and will be composed of 30 European entities representing the citizens, patient associations, industry, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in this area.
To address this call of interest, natural or legal persons will have to:
i) Belong to an entity with European representativeness;
ii) Be registered at the «Transparency Register»:
iii) Have a track record related to the eHealth; and
iv) Have both proven experience and technical, legal and scientific excellence in the eHealth politics.
The representatives of this Stakeholder Group will participate at least in two meetings per year in Brussels, as well as collaborate in debates on specific eHealth issues and contribute to the drafting and revision of working documents in English.
The costs related to travelling to those meetings will be supported by the European Commission, although the members of this Stakeholder Group will not be paid for their services.
