The importance of participating in Brokerage events
One of the success factors for applications for European funding programs – in particular the Horizon 2020 – is gathering a qualified consortium, with experience in European projects with the resources needed for the project.
In fact, successful proposals to competitive programs of European funding can not only be based on a good idea. Although a disruptive idea is a good starting point, there are other elements that appear to be most relevant in the statement of the project realization of potential and therefore inspire the evaluators and the European Commission to give a vote of confidence through good ratings and hence the grant funding.
Thus, the formal structure of the application proposal and choosing the right partners for the project are two elements that deserve utmost attention from the institutions that wish to apply for EU funding programs.
In this sense, conscious of the need to facilitate interaction between potential partners, the European Commission promotes various brokerage events to contribute to the meeting of entities with complementary competencies and objectives, and aims to build multidisciplinary and European dimension consortia.
So, to find the right partners for your project, you should take these events into account!
